Blue Lagoon Admission Tickets

Sowohl bei der Hinfahrt als auch bei der Rückfahrt waren die QR-Codes für den Busfahrer nicht ausreichend. Er fragte nach einer Print-Version für die Transfers. Auch vor Irt in der Blauen Lagune mussten wir warten, weil der WR-Code nicht eingelesen werden konnte. Also absolut unpraktisch. Wir würden nicht nochmal Mut Headout und der App buchen. 

On both the outward and return journeys, the QR codes were not sufficient for the bus driver. He asked for a printed version for the transfers. We also had to wait in front of Irt in the Blue Lagoon because the WR code could not be scanned. So absolutely impractical. We wouldn't book with Headout and the app again.

Very over crowded and not enough space in changing rooms with so many people. Had read good reviews so not sure if picked a particular my busy day but far from relaxing!

“The website did not show the address until after we had booked 6 tickets. We are tourists from the USA and are not familiar with the area. Later, we discovered that the location is a 5-hour drive from our hotel. When we tried to cancel, the live chat support did not allow us to cancel the tickets.

Very nice place to be and relax for a while,  clean changing rooms and showers, beautiful landscape... just the place to be!

The pool itself was nice but the surroundings were not as beautiful as others we saw. The check in area and locker rooms were very chaotic and took away from the peaceful spa like part of the pools.

I wonder if the safety of tourists and employees is really the top priority. I saw the earthquake-damaged roads on the approach, and the new temporary road right next to the new one, which still looked warm and was smoking. The volcano nearby still active. I assume it's an important source of income for the state to repair other infrastructure damage and thats why the lagoon is now open. If not, I find it criminal, and I'm just waiting for another disaster to occur in this now-active area.

So quiet and peaceful, I'd revisit Secret Lagoon any time. Staff persons were welcoming, and everything super clean.  The lagoon was picturesque. The bottom of the largest pool was smooth pebble and felt good on tired feet. 

Recommendation: Highlight positives but mention crowding.
